My first "Zdoom" wad ever, I guess. Really just a simple test project I made today, and my first attempt at making a PK3.
You are dropped into the maze from the classic arcade game Pac-Man. Collect as many pellets as you can and watch out for the deadly ghost alongside the demons!

Re: Pac-Man Doom
Sounds fun but maybe some screenshots or a video would be more convincing.

Those ghosts originally came from Wolfenstein 3D.

Re: Pac-Man Doom
Hence why I put ID in the credits. PSTrooper was the one who released a file containing the ghosts ((fully coded)), along with custom rotations.wildweasel wrote:Those ghosts originally came from Wolfenstein 3D.

Re: Pac-Man Doom
That decorate code was from Mallo, who did the original rotations. All I did was add the death states and custom pain sprites (which I see you didn't use).
Believe it or not, I was going to do something like this, but you beat me to it. Oh well.
I don't know if you can use these or not, but I found these sprites of Pac-Man a few days ago, and I've had quite a time trying to figure out who made them. They're obviously from something Wolfenstein related. I've cropped and renamed them all to replace the player.
I also have all the Pac-Man sound effects and music straight from the source if you need them on request?

Re: Pac-Man Doom
Thanks for the feedback~!
I'm actually making some sort of successor to this that is still in very early stages. ((And will mostly be based off the Pac-Man World platformers.)) ...That will probably get it's own thread though once I get some sort of demo going.

Any chances of making it scripted so that you exit after eating all the dots?
