How to edit SNDCURVE?

Post by DoomerMrT »

Hello,

After a bit of research, I found out that a modified SNDCURVE is needed for a stuff I want to achieve. Slade, however, is only able to view that file, but not modify it. Is there any tool capable of writing SNDCURVE?
If you are wondering why I need to modify it: I need a sound which gets louder with distance, but gets inaudible when you are close!

[wiki]SNDCURVE[/wiki] is just a raw dump of hex values. You can make it with a hex editor.

I made mine by creating a gradient in a 2025 pixel wide, 1 pixel tall, image in Photoshop and saving it as single-channel (grey) headerless raw.
