Probably need to rebuild both frame and slide. Ugh, the way-up-front grip just looks cooky. Feels bad, man.

It helps to find the vanishing point by making straight lines following the major shapes of the gun and extending them to the centre of the screen until they meet. For this gun I followed the top of the barrel since that actually had a vanishing point. Then I made new lines from the newly found vanishing point to show me how the rest of the shapes should look and then I took the marque selection tool to select parts of it, like the outer edge, and used the perspective transformation tool in Photoshop to slide parts up and down. With this gun it ought to look fine set to nearest neighbour since it's low colour and has a rough texture, just go back and fill in a few pixels here and there.

Then you would keep those lines up to show the vanishing point, bring in the next sprite, and try to line it up with the previous sprite's vanishing point.

Finished the MARS A reload, although they could do with indexing and so on - all I need now are ADS sprites, which shouldn't be TOO hard to find for an M16-type rifle...

Those look a lot hazier than the original sprite. Did you use a filtered rotate on them without sharpening afterward? I use PSP's "unsharp mask" to put some of the crispness back into rotated images.
