Hey everyone!
I miss the Cerebral Bore from Turok 2 so much.
So i tried to recreate the lovely weapon in Doom. :)

It hopefully replaces the Plasma Rifle randomly and its ammo.

Credits:
Acclaim for Turok 2 stuff: sounds, sprites
Mechaelis: his Flaregun code was very helpfull !
SigFloyd / Sergant_Mark_IV: brain, blood sprites
iD: Doom2.wad: explosion sprite

Edit: fixed a bug that wouldn't you switch weapons on this slot.

Nice work,we could use some more Turok mods,and that cerebral bore look pretty neat.

Gotta love'em Turok games,except the PS3/Xox360 version that one didnt felt like the older ones.

In fact i played Turok 2 a bit again because of this mod. It realy plays like Doom. Corridors, evade projectiles and shotgun to the face! :D

Great job. If you want to completely emulate Bore though, you'd need to make it land at them from above.
My best guess would be making the initial projectile spawn another projectile on impact, which in turn will follow an arching trajectory and land onto enemy from above.

If you want I may look into ripping all of the Turok 2 weapons in 720p/35fps (wanted to rip that spinnng plasma cannon anyway).
