Re: WWE Thread
WHY AREN'T YOU TALKING ABOUT STING?!
Does anyone have a recording of the broadcast version of that thing? I've been reading people popped like mad and booed to hell and back when it was just a WWE 15 announcement

I'd rather play WCW/NWO Revenge to get my Sting fix. I'll get excited when he steps foot inside the ring.
That was one bad PPV. The swerves left me more confused than OMG that happened.

Re: WWE Thread
I'll guarandamntee that. The question is what happens at Night of Champions. Does Cena win the rematch, does Rollins cash in, or does Brock retain then disappear with the belt until next year?
RIP in peace Bo's streak.

A. I'll guarantee you that cena will lose the rematch.
B. If brock retains the championship, Rollins will have no chance against the beast incarnate.
C. Will brock disappear with the championship? Probably...

I have a bad feeling where mrs. McMahon might cheat just like she sent 3 of her henchmen to Vickie... Vickie lost her job as general manager...leileilol wrote:I CANT WAIT FOR SUMERSLAM where bella makes mrs. mcman her bit!!!

Del Rio fired. I can't say I'll miss him.
Hogan, Nash, and Hall doing a NWO reunion tonight. Not sure what to expect there.
I hope Brie wins just so this feud doesn't take up anymore TV time.
Triple G tried to rob D-Bry. He stopped them with a broken neck its true, its damn true.

DAMMIT! I missed tonight's show, I thought it was sunday today...
No one will miss Del Rio, I won't... Sure I like tacos, but I didn't like him at all...DaMan wrote:Del Rio fired. I can't say I'll miss him.
I don't know what to expect from them either, I never saw them fight before... It's because I wasn't born thenDaMan wrote:Hogan, Nash, and Hall doing a NWO reunion tonight. Not sure what to expect there.
This will be interesting to see, I can't wait to see this at Summer Slam.DaMan wrote:I hope Brie wins just so this feud doesn't take up anymore TV time.
If triple H got his neck broken, he deserved it well. Daniel B chose his championship over his wife and then got stripped of the titles, It's really his lost.DaMan wrote:Triple G tried to rob D-Bry. He stopped them with a broken neck its true, its damn true.

Re: WWE Thread
Really hoping the ADR thing does not devolve into something bigger and nastier; he was looking forward to be released, but not in this way.
Rey Mysterio is showing even less due to injuries;
Edit: Also, CMPunk confirmed for 2K15. The whole Census VS Bonk feud from 2011 is going to be there, alongside HBK vs Triple H, which gave some pretty decent matches

Spoiler: breaking kayfabe, and as far as I can recall there's not a single luchador in NXT. FWIW, Mexico is quite a big market for the WWE; yeah, there's enough little jimmies to replace whatever they may lose with the absence of an actual latin-american representation in their shows, but this may hurt 'em in the long run.

There's Kalisto. Hasn't gotten too much TV time on NXT, buts probably about to change.
Don't expect Rey anytime soon even if he was 100%.
Looks like the new Nation of Domination has been scraped. We can't have nice things. We need that time for important like saying 9.99.

Re: WWE Thread
This is very interesting, and I thought 2k14 was the best game ever (cautiously waits even more than before...).The Wiki wrote:As the result of an overhaul of the series, WWE 2K15 features five times the animation data of WWE 2K14, containing over 50 days work of motion capture by WWE superstars. Over four times the amount of dialogue for commentary was also recorded. The general gameplay of the game has been revised, with the wrestlers being divided once more into classes, as was present in the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw series. This creates what is known as "in ring psychology" within the classes (brawlers, giants, grapplers, and high-flyers) and all provide different and unique sensations within the game to provide more diverse mechanics. In addition, the game's overall core mechanics have been fundamentally altered. The overall core gameplay elements have been completely overhauled, the grappling system for example. When you press the grapple button in the early stages of a match in WWE 2K15, it initiates the new chain wrestling system. There is no more simply walking up to your opponent and simply performing say a DDT. Two wrestlers go right into a classic collar-and-elbow lockup to jockey for position. It starts like rock, paper, scissors – with each player pressing one of three face buttons, and the winner advancing to a more advantageous position. From here, both players play what is essentially a lock-picking game, rotating the right stick until they find the “sweet spot,” and holding it there to improve their respective situation. During this time, the player with advantage can land strikes, or even wrench whatever limb they’ve grabbed a hold of. It’s a lot more like the opening stages of a real match than running right up to your opponent for a spine-buster the moment the bell rings. During this period, you can still do running or standing strikes, as well as Irish whips, so you still have options, but the full extent of the grappling game doesn’t open up until some decent damage has been dealt. Strikes come out at a speed more in line with how actual people punch and kick, making attack chains more deliberate and satisfying to land. Grappling has undergone another key change: the four intermediary grapple stances are gone. Once you’re out of the opening chain-wrestling phase, you just press or hold the grapple button along with a direction to launch right into a move. You can still do a basic headlock to set up rudimentary moves, and the returning limb targeting system, but your core grappling moves will come right from standing. Animations were captured in a full, regulation-size ring this year, and all the in-game rings were rebuilt to proper scale to compensate. It changes how wrestlers look compared to their surroundings, how fast they get to the ropes off an Irish whip, and how they climb the turnbuckle.

Re: WWE Thread
Unless they bring back the voices (an Acclaim-era feature) or have a PC release I don't really care much about WWE 2k15. I take it the 5 times thing involved recording...
"And that one hit his index finger!"
"And that one hit his ring finger!"
"And that one hit his BLEEP!!! On the WWE network you can hear this uncensored for only $9.99 a month!"
"Know what I like about Summer Slam? DIVAS IN BIKINIS!!!! And in TOTAL DIVAS!!! Only on the WWE NETWORK for only $9.99 a month!"
