Re: Custom Texture Thread.

Poorly made Dopefish easter egg, heavily inspired by Quake 2's easter egg 'deisgn is law', just took some pipes with blood of Icon of Sin texture and added blood. Feel free to use but give credit...

Here are some Japanese textures I made for a Tokyo themed map that I scrapped.

Here's the template for the signage.

I would have LOVED to see that map.jazzmaster9 wrote:

Caution tape, and some clear water. The water texture is an edit of my water texture. The caution tape is sort of an edit of a WhoDunIt texture that I really liked. I used a colour from the original WhoDunIt texture, because it worked in software mode.

8x64 versions of BRICK6 - BRICK9. The top row is recoloured to fit in with BRICK1, while the bottom row uses the original colours.

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
yes I know I said I retired from all this but its pissing of rain here so no outside work and my back hurts too much for knocking up yet more cadians so sue me; I've done textures!
I thought that tnt's boss texture was far too static in the brain region for me. so I knicked heXen's portal wibble thingy and I think its much better now! oh and for those too lazy to mess with trying it out themselves i put it into a zip so you can see it in action on map 30! here:
*EDIT*
it also looks nice on tele-pads too

I'll take that, thank you...

As ever, some really nice edits there.NiGHTMARE wrote:
The logic of the green one bothers me a bit though. OK, I know that the UAC seem to have employed the most illogical engineers and architects ever but that looks like a significant vent that has had its air-flow severely hampered by having a sizeable metal X in front of it. So I wondered if something like these might be suitable alternatives?

In case it's any use, I used this as an overlay on top of the underlying textures
