It looked exactly like cobble, which is why that's now the cobble texture and stone has been redone.

Finished Mass Effect 3 and damn...

BioWare made a movie in a game, cuz the game from the half to the end is completely Epic, i took the Synthesis ending, now i'll take a Cooldown time to replay all the trilogy following the Renegade way, also try save Kaidan than Ashley in ME1, everyone in the Suicide mission in ME2 and try not leave Miranda, Legion and Tali die in ME3, then see the ending of controlling Reapers.

Awesome! Good luck then!

I'm having the first stage exams for art school tomorrow. Both nervous and excited.

At the Community College of Philadelphia, a man took a gun to school, and threatened a classmate with it by pointing it to his head over an argument. My school is right across the street from that. We were on lockdown for about an hour. Luckily, no one was hurt, no shots were fired, but that was a bit scary.

I heard that he turned himself in.

So I decided to give STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl another go... is this game meant to be hard as shit? :S I keep getting pwned so hard in that very first mission where you have to go to that bandit camp and retrieve the flash drive.

(This is probably why me and "realism" shooters can never be friends...)

Vanilla game, no mods. And no, I refuse to use STALKER Complete or whatever that was... I generally dislike mod packs, especially ones that alter the game mechanics too much.

Ahhh, STALKER. Well, it's been a while since I played it. Pretty sure you can get some NPCs helping on that mission, at least if you choose the right dialogue options (I forget if it only happened sometimes or not.)

Aside from that, pretty much a Doom mindset gets you killed in STALKER. Lesson one, make good use of cover, and lesson two, the shotguns in that game suck and I would probably not advise ever using them. If you get used to it, it's not that hard.

Edit: If you find a wounded guy crying for help and he's a neutral (i.e. you can't do this for guys marked as enemies) you can give him one of your medical kits and he'll get better, AND become your friend.

Yeah, I found the wounded guy by the roadside and gave him a medkit. Also talked to the NPC group just outside that bandit hideout - even with their aid, they pretty much get splattered by the bandits in like 10 seconds.

I admit that I am probably approaching it with a "Doom mindset" in which case, I will reiterate what I previously said... I just don't understand what the appeal is for these "realism" games... :D I play games to unwind and have fun, not get frustrated and killed over and over again by realistic enemy AI.
