It's far, far too pillowshaded. It might have potential to look great, but like that it just looks silly.

Now I want to try to code it too. Just to test myself.
It will have 3 different firing state, each one with his ammo type in the little screen and barrel style in the big one.

Hey! I was faffing around with SmoothDoom instead of actually finishing it, and I decided to Perkristianize the Doom64 shotty and make it smooth. I really like the end result, a big thanks to Cage, Osjclatchford, Uboa, and Zedek the Plague Doctor for doing the heavy lifting with their previous work on this gun. I think it's come a long way since its handless beginnings.

Hmm It looks like it's lost its blue color to it as if its been Doom palleted. Since ZDoom supports true color sprites for hud weapons wouldn't it be better to make the originals pngs? idk
