Smash Arena Of Doom.

Just a little something I worked on lately, it's very basic and isn't fully complete and will touch up on it. This WAD aims to be thrilling and fun, let me know on any suggestions/improvements. I will add some content from Realm667 and maybe other WADS with permissions allowed to use resources. How long can you last?

To be honest: it's shit.
Unless you have a your own ways to improve this, here's some suggestions:
1) Start out easy: After killing first 3 Zombiemen difficuly spiked very hard and very fast, and being r- i mean killed from everywhere by 3 Archvilles and some Spider Masterminds isn't very "thrilling and fun".
2) Make spawns wave based:
Since there a large chance of biggest monsters spawning instead of smalled or even medium ones and because a few, a few creeps are less likely to turn this game into Lagothon 2014, it's for the better to make around 10 seconds delay between each dozen of monsters.
3) Fun Factor:
Force the game to be a bit less boring. I can't really produne non-crazy ideas but here's one anyway: Deploy enemies in unpredictable ways:
Drop them from the sky, bury them outta ground, fling 'em into wall across the room, trampoline them into the battlezone, make them come ot of walls, your call.

Otherwise, it's pretty tolerable for a first(?) mod.

I'm not surprised that you said it's shit, and frankly, yeah I agree, am improving it, by changing the spawner to be done in ACS so it's balanced, there are gonna be stationary monsters that are gonna be spawned in the middle of the room, not sure on the wave system, more of an endurance, could make a switch to make corpses disappear. Items will also spawn in the middle of the arena, would you suggest making it bigger?

This would be my second WAD.

Spoiler:
To me, this is the map in a nutshell. Regardless of its Super Meat Boy difficulty, it does provide some amazing replays.
The map itself looks bland, and the way that you used the moving floors is not something I like.

I'd suggest adding more detail to the ceiling, and adding more covers for the Archviles/projectiles, but it does have a flappy bird feeling in it where I wanna keep playing over and over again, regardless of how frustrating it is to survive for barely 2 minutes. The concept, although overused, still has me latched onto it. =p

EDIT: I'd take the spawn placements for the enemies out from the center of the map, to create a 'safe haven' for the player, and replace it with item spawns, so you don't have to get so close to the death-bringing machines.
