[Request] System Shock 2 Models?
Does anyone have converted System Shock 2 models?
Re: [Request] System Shock 2 Models?
If you have the game, you can open the CRF files - they are just zip files so 7zip can do it. If I recall correctly, mesh.crf and obj.crf are where the models are stored.
The models are in Dark engine format bin files. You can convert them using the command line tool bintoe.exe. This converts them to the e format. Then you can run eto3ds.exe to convert them to 3ds files. This is a format supported by a number of model editing tools and you xan use them to convert the model to a format supported by GZDoom. To get bintoe and eto3ds, go here:
http://www.angelfire.com/games4/shadowspawn/Tools.html
and download "Free The Objects".
It's a pain in the neck to do it, but it does work.

Ok that part works, but I have a question to that, How do you add the animations to the model? I believe it's in the cal file but I don't know how to combine the model and animation.
