gonna call you out here; it's gonna be a terrywad.

I mean it's kind of out of the blue considering your impeccable record
and your amazing previous works
I mean look at these people simply idolizing your maps

plus, we all know generic techbases with no real description and only concentrating on simple architecture are 100% perfectly safe

and clearly your denying it removes any further doubt!

but yeah, I'm just going to go ahead and say this is a trap

Eh, the screenies look alright. Not sure what to make of the album comprised of the author pretending to be female though. :P

I remember this one, the one I played in our google hangouts, so I think it's legit.

Not to mention he has made maps before without the pointless b.s: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/?file= ... agonyv.zip

Edit: I forgot to mention one thing, judging by the automap, the map looks rather linear.

This does not bode well...I hope that this won't end the way I'm imagining that it might...

The screenshots look nice. You can at least competently run your editor of choice. Hopefully the monster placement is nice as well. I'm not to worried about the linearity, as sometimes it's nice to just blast what's in front of you and move on in a "sweep and clear" manner, so long as the encounters are varied and interesting.

You can ask Jack101, he played this wad, it isn't a terrywad. SCAVES.WAD is my last piece of shit. I honestly don't even get why people like terrywads to begin with. It's always the exact same bullshit.

I think terrywads attract people because "it's so crap that it's good". For 2-3 maps, it's fine, but eventually, only the crap remains. Take a look at wow.wad, or even better, absolutely terrible games (Action 52, Big Rigs, Mortyr). They gained hilarious popularity. Even Glassyman with his Soul Gamarra episodes. Many people are attracted to these puppies.

Did a quick playthrough of the map, and its definitely not a terrywad. Its actually pretty decent.

Some minor criticism and a bug report under the spoiler.

Aye these screenshots look nice, at least give him a chance before criticizing him. Use the flamethrower for later.

Welp, feedback time!

Visually, it's great: I'm guessing you expected that, but the detail is pretty well done and doesn't obstruct the player's movement. Gameplay isn't too shabby either, but the map as a whole is a bit too linear for comfort: try have a bit more interconnectivity between areas. Also, that bit with all the Demons is a bit dark.
