I'm going to say "if you can get it really cheap, yes". The first part of the game is fantastic, if easy. A ways in and it leaves the realm of puzzles that actually involve Block Extrusion. (Especially this weird magnets thing which is obtuse and tedious. I stopped after only one or two such puzzles.)

Frankly, the Portal series does a better job maintaining a core mechanic throughout the entire game, and building other features onto that rather than shoving it to the backburner.

In other news, I spotted DisplayFusion on a Steam Flash Sale yesterday, so I downloaded the trial and tried it out. Loads better than the MM program i was using, and well worth $6.

Gave quite a few gifts to my friend on Steam recently.
Also picked up a PS2 copy of Max Payne and Hitman 2.
I suck at Hitman.

one thing i don't get with Qube on Steam is that the soundtrack + game bundle costs more than buying the items separately. what the cake?

also, Christmas over here and stuff. received some music, VHS-tapes, and a pretty comfy sweater. pretty okay christmas, i'd say.

This will happen a lot during their big sale events.

is 3.39 euro cheap enough to warrant a purchase of it? i tried the demo and it's not too bad, really, but if the rest of the game outside of the demo falls flat, then it'd be kind of a downer to have bought the game in thought that the rest of the game would be just as interesting.

Currently trying to resurrect my wallet in comatosis state. It went through a serious Steam-ectomy session and lost 3/4 of it's content.

...seriously. I wasted so much in the sales I feel bad for myself. :(

If this conversion is correct, then that's about 4.64 USD. I paid $3.74 for it on sale.

I'm going to say that it's up to you. I got up to Sector 5 (out of 7 I think?) before those puzzles got too tedious. That's still a good portion of the game I enjoyed.

On the plus side, it runs super-great (Unreal Engine always gives me that) and seems pretty much free of bugs. You can't say that for everything.

I was unable to do my Gift-giving this year, but luckily, Quickshotgunman, Project Dark Fox, and Grymmoire (who had an aneurysm or something and went nuts buying me stuff) have given me a gift-giving all my own. I have a lot more of my wishlist thanks to the nice folks here. It means a lot. Thanks and Merry Christmas, y'all.
