The link to the Battle Rifle doesn't seem to work, but the Realm 667 does:

Thanks! :) Glad that my stuff is useful.
One more DECORATE item today- an axe weapon using sprites by Mike12. (The pickup was made by me using the axe that the zombie scientist holds. If anyone could clean it up for me, that'd be great!) Thanks to idGamer for the new , improved Axe pickup! :)
Primary fire is a quick swing; secondary fire is a slower but much stronger swing- a lucky shot can kill a full 70HP chaingunner in one hit.
Expect a link in a minute or two on the front page. Also, I might give that minigun zombie a recolor, but I'm not sure.
EDIT: By the way, all 3 of the new resources today (Battle Rife, Minigunner, and Axe) have all been submitted to Realm667, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed to get all 3 on the big site! :D
EDIT2: Safe Demo attachment disappeared, reuploaded. Sorry for that.

I hope Tormentor667 approve your minigunner because you did a great job with that guy. :D

Re: [Resource] Heracross's stuff | Newest-Burst Rifle

Postby TheMightyHeracross » Sun Dec 01, 2013 2:59 pm

New weapon! The Burst Rifle fires 3 rounds (each firing 3 hitscans themselves, for a total of 9 hitscans that do 4 damage each) with every trigger pull.
Uses Mike12's sprites, with a reload animation by me, and zrrion's muzzle flash in the firing states. (I also used his tutorial for fanciness on the flash sprites).
Comes with ammo, a commented out extra Ready state that allows manual reloading, an empty clip that spawns when you take it out of the gun, and firing sounds from Quake 3, and reloading and empty clip bounce sounds from FreeDoom.
I will not submit this to Realm667 for these reasons:
[1]Has reloading, which is not allowed
[2]Flash states are truecolor, which is not allowed (only paletted)
[3]The extra clip is also disallowed

Updated OP with a thread-exclusive version of the battle rifle, with some cleanups on the HUD sprites by Uboa.
The flash sprites were originally made by Reactor, then recolored.
This will not go on Realm667 because of the truecolor HUD sprites.
EDIT: Lowered the volume on both versions. That was a problem.
EDIT2: Now, uploaded again with some fixes.

Minigunner updated. He can now randomly stop firing after shooting for a while. Done at the request of Blue Shadow on Realm667 forums to "balance out the double-firing speed" when compared to the chaingunner. Not really liking this though, doesn't make any sense. :|

The normal chaingunner does the exact same thing, though.

Re: [Resource] Heracross's stuff | Newest-Exterminator

Postby TheMightyHeracross » Sun Feb 16, 2014 8:13 pm

Added the Exterminator. A frankensprited zombie variant with an SMG and an arm blade. See OP for more details.
Also that strange behavior of the Minigunner is gone.

Re: [Resource] Heracross's stuff | Newest-Peasants Pack

Postby TheMightyHeracross » Sun Jul 06, 2014 9:28 pm

Thanks, I'll implement that soon.

Mega update bump! The Peasants Pack brings 5 new peasant variations to the table. There's a broken bottle peasant, a pistol peasant, a combination of the two, a workman, and an officer. See OP for details.

Re: [Resource] Heracross's stuff | Newest-Laser-Scout

Postby TheMightyHeracross » Mon Jul 07, 2014 8:36 am

My apologizes for the quick double post, but the Laser-Scout has been added. This tough humanoid robot is ready to enter the fray wielding a rapid-fire laser gun (with +RIPPER!). See OP for details.

EDIT: The two workers in the Peasant Pack have been removed.

Bumpity bump with a civilian! A poor businessman caught in the crossfire, he simply runs away. When there is no chaos happening around him, he either stands still or calmly walks around, depending on the variant you use.
