Nametags not showing up

I don't know if this is a problem in my computer or whatever, but the nametags do not show up anymore in this new version.
Normally, when you set "Both" in the HUD options to "Display Nametags", it should make them appear (like, when you change weapons).
If not a bug, then sorry for bothering.

Although the menu should be chaging things, it would be worth checking the console. try typing:

displaynametags

at the console and see what nuber it returns. It should be a number appropriate for what ever value has been set in the menu.

From the wiki:

0: Don't show anything
1: Show inventory tags
2: Show weapon tags
3: Show both inventory and weapon tags

Then try:

displaynametags 3

to see if that does indeed show the tags for you.

Well, I tried that and it shows "displaynametags 3"
Strange, huh?
EDIT: Nothing changes in game, nametags still don't show up

Don't know what happened, but now it shows up!
Just one question: ZDoom was supporting things like, pressing 3 for shotgun and then appears "shotgun" on the screen?
EDIT: The nametags are triggered using next and previous weapon keys.
