Well, you want it, you get it :) These boytoys are from Tristania 2, as well as the ammunition.

As for the weapon HUD frames...well, here is the problem. What you can see is the pulsar rifle, and the problem is, the weapon takes up the entire screen vertically for reloading, and I have no idea how to fit this in GZDoom. If you find a solution, I promise I'll give you all the frames you need.

ummmm yes.
that mp5, that shotgun, all the real weapons...and the not real ones...look perfect for what im going for.
i hate to say it, but im trying to stray away from anything that shoots lasers and shit like that....but those pickups...all of em are so sick.
i am stoked. mind if i try out the pickups and see what happens?

how to i make the game run em unpalletted?

As far as I know, GZDoom runs them unpaletted, because it uses OpenGL. Therefore I'd strongly recommend you to use GZDoom, so you won't have to suffer with palettes, converting, and stuff.

As for the weaponry....Tristania 2 will utilize both real and futuristic weapons. If you're looking for real weapons, there is the Merkov, the Sabrine MK4 Assasins Elite, the Kruger, the FG42 Paratroop rifle, and the PAMR Sniper rifle.
As for energy weapons, I gave you the Plasma blast, Prism rifle, Plasma rifle, Thermal Shok Launcher, Sonic Oscillator, and the Anti-matter beam.

If you need more bullet ammunition as opposed to energy ammo, I can make some for you.

Might stating where you got these from? From skimming I can identify Halo's Spartan Laser, Needle Rifle and some others.

loving it dude! loving it. the m9 and the shotty are both in my mod, along with the uzi and the m4 and all that! im loving it for sure.
i really do love angled sprites though...i cant help it and i dont wanna have to go though and recode (because its seriously just "change this value and hope it works" type of stuff haha) how the bullets come out of the weapons. i love that m4/m16 you got going on. love it.
the main problem with this mod...is that i need reload animations, i need iron sight animations, and i need standard holding animations (whatever those are called)
this task is what we call...insanely huge and hard haha.
but you and the other dude are posting exactly what im looking for.
if i could find like three dudes plus me making sprites for each kind of weapon, i think we could bang this out in...however fast you work haha.

yeah dude the mod is pretty much only gzdoom compatible. so that works out nicely doesnt it? haha
so i can use these? because id really love it. and ofcourse youre getting credit.
seriously though...i love em.
and as far as i remember there is only like...6 ammo catagories that i need. sniper, lmg, smg, ar, pistol, and explosive. so i definitely think i can make due.

sorry man, i forgot to reply to this part. do all your weapons do this? it looks like its running a 3d model instead of a sprite?
either way, what you probably need to do is resize em (if theyre sprites that should be alot easier). i noticed the doom weapons are...fuckin tiny haha, so if youre going for big models...yeah theyll probably swamp the whole screen.
i noticed on your mod page everyones kinda being an asshole. so since im new and not a 48 year old dude still raging on the forums to noobies, let me just say its nice to see someone take it in stride.
wildweasel made some good points though, follow his pointers, and (this has to be true) ignore anyone with an anime avatar or an avatar of dr who. they seem to just go around and say rude shit...for no reason other than high school was rough on em.
so fuck it. mod on.

Honestly? It's extremely hard to answer. When I'm looking for usable sprites, I just type in somethin' like "lazer pistol" or such, and view all the results. Many of the gunz are waaaaay beyond from the era of 2004, when I was workin' on Tristania3D, but they didn't make it in the game. And of course, a group of guns are assembled from various walltypes, like the Sonic oscillator and the anti-matter beam, the "incinerate!!!".

Sure you can use'em if you'd like to. I have got lots of various pickup sprites, which "mite" be useful, like medipacks, various types of ammo (even explosives), armor, energy shields, and so on. This is my way of helping peope here in the forum, or saying "thanks" for the help I receive.

As for the pulsar rifle HUD frames and such....well, yeah, some of my weaponz do this, running a 3D model instead of sprite. I hard ripped all the frames, but the problem is, I don't know the correct size for all the images, so they will fit perfectly on the screen. Luckily, I have guns which don't take up the entire screen for loading and realoading.
As for my Tristania 2 topic, I admit it was a little bit early to open it just yet, but I don't think I deserved that treatment I got there. But at least you could see that even this community has its own collection of worthless pitiful excuses for trolls.
So anywayz, I'm stuck with the weapon HUD frames, since I have no idea how should I resize them so that it will fit perfectly on the screen. Once I find out a solution, of course I will share all my creations.

I hope this helps a bit - this contains collectibles from Tristania 2, such as infrared battle visor, lantern, adrenaline, various medipacks, armor units, and personal energy shields (Mag deflector, Heavy mag, Super mag). Hope this'll help your project a little.

And of course, there are some keys and keycards for you to use.

HAZMAT Suit, and Artifakts are not yet ready...but they will be soon enough...

hell yeah dude! thanks a ton for all the things, i learned how to scale, so im throwin in the rpg backpack, the health kit, and like three or four other things. thanks again dude.
