You have no idea how much I've seen that pathetic excuse during my years online since 1998.

Even still, at the end of the day, YOU and only YOU are to be held responsible for how secure your account and computer are. Even if it was not you that posted that message, it is your fault that your account was compromised in the first place, and the warning stays.

Walking into your room and opening passwords.txt is not considered hacking.armyman12345 wrote:He hacked me on his computer.

Whatever, I got a warning and it's staying.
Re: Brütal Doom v0.18
Might be a better idea to change your OS, this seem to be a hell of work to do, iirc Sergeant_Mark_IV said in earlier post that he will not make a low resolution patch.doomguy1324 wrote:ya just make a low resolution patch for Brutal Doom cuse im using ZDoom can't use anything else becuse i'm running Mac SO X 10.4

Re: Brütal Doom v0.18
Depending on what kind of Mac he's running, he may not be able to run anything more advanced than 10.4. My iBook G4 is one such computer.

People just NEED to upgrade or convert to something more universal.

Are these demands or are you asking him? I mean it might or might not be an easy proccess but you can't expect people to release something specifically for one person.doomguy1324 wrote:just make a low hd patch so it can be played in ZDoom
Honestly as previously suggested I think you'd have better luck running windows or linux in bootcamp (or any other similar software really), or using zandronum (last resort
or even this http://code.google.com/p/gzdoom-macosx/
I use it at uni when I'm bored and we dont really have pc's in the studios.
There's a many ways to skin a cat and no offence but your post tells me you didn't try once.

Again, depending on his model of Mac, he might not have that option (if it's an older PowerPC-based Mac, he will not be able to use Bootcamp).DoomNukem wrote:Honestly as previously suggested I think you'd have better luck running windows or linux in bootcamp (or any other similar software really), or using zandronum (last resort).

Re: Brütal Doom v0.18
The site isn't very forthcoming with that information, but if you try to download the Mac version from their site and try to install it, it'll tell you if your system is too old to run it.doomguy1324 wrote:what version of Mac OS X do i need to run zandronum
Re: Brütal Doom v0.18
Don't know if this will persist in the next version, I know it's like this in 18a and 19testfinal, but I've noticed that traps where monsters teleport in can be blocked if a destroyable corpse is left on it, to make monster spawn again it you must destroy any corpses on the teleport trap or the monsters must be bbq'd with plasma(Non-destroyable corpses seem to have no effect on spawn blocking). An example of this trap in vanilla doom would be in E1M9, the star shaped sector with the rocket launcher on it.
in MAP07 of neodoom you can get a larger scale example of this in the room where mancubi and spider demons teleport in and swarm you(Since you have to kill them to proceed the bug is more noticeable here), if you're not using plasma the spawn sectors are bound to get blocked untill you destroy whatever is clogging it up, you may also need to kick heads and limbs off the spawn.
