How do you disable the default HUD in zdoom?

I want to play with the new hud that zdoom has in which you have the health and ammo on their respective sides. How do you do that?

In game, drop the console (by pressing the ~ key on the keyboard), and type:

Code: Select all

screenblocks 11

and then press Enter.
