How to bind a state on a button?

Post by revo794 »

So, my weapon has got "Reload" state. I've created a new key bind in "Customize controls" menu using the KEYCONF lump, but how to bind the actual reloading on a button now? What console command does reloading equal?

Why aren't people using the default reload setup anyways? It takes the headache out.

Note: Default Reload being that ZDoom already has a 'Reload' function already. Similar to 'Fire' and 'AltFire' - you just need to bind a button and you're set. No hacky keyconf setup.

It's possible their mod is being made for Zandronum.

Even then, it's still possible to use the +reload key, though it involves the use of acs. Also, you would have to manually bind the key in the console or add it to the menu using KEYCONF.
