Well, I just joined these fourms. Why I didn't join sooner is way beyond me but I did browse the fourms for a long time when un-registered.

I'm actually quite happy they're getting Duke and Shadow Warrior on there...

I'll likely take the axe over the hat any day. The axe is 100% awesome (at least in my mind), whereas the hat, you might get something that's either awesome or terrible. Who knows.

Trying Windows 7 on my 2880x1800 15" laptop
I've finally found the setting to scale text and objects 200% in Control Panel (it's at the "Adjust Screen Resolution" section), and I'm pleased that there are several programs that take advantage of scaling and really look good, cross platform apps like GIMP or SLADE3 for example, making most text readable while keeping graphics at 1:1 scale, taking advantage of the quadruble screen real estate. Funnily Doom Builder 2, despite being a native Windows program, doesn't look good. Here's a screenshot (huge). Compare how SLADE3 and Doom Builder 2 look:

However, most browsers look bad. Chrome and Opera both stretch the display crudely, while Firefox fails by *not* complying with Windows' scaling (so the content appears tiny), and has a very rubbish GUI (does it have any zooming default settings?). So currently I'm using Internet Explorer 9, which sucks for other reasons, such as being irresponsive, spammy and unable to respond to horizontal scroll trackpad events
So is there any browser that can have global zooming that looks nice? Chrome does have default zooming, but it comes in addition to what Windows settings dictate, and it does that poorly.

The axe cannot be traded, but the hat, no matter the quality, can be traded for some metal. The first time I got the axe, I thought it was 100% awesome as well... but it wasn't what i hoped.InsanityBringer wrote:I'll likely take the axe over the hat any day. There's lots of other weird and interesting stuff in the list that's not in that pastebin, like Sony Vegas and Toon Boom Studio.Snarboo wrote:Ah mah gah, you guys!

KOF XIII's inclusion is an important one, because maybe some fighter developers are realizing the less input latency of a personal computer versus a console
However........ i fear the sight of the Second Life community hub gallery. The flags are gonna fly.

I'd buy all three of them, as an SNK nut.leileilol wrote:KOF XIII's inclusion is an important one, because maybe some fighter developers are realizing the less input latency of a personal computer versus a console
