Eeek, that filefactory service is indeed horrible.
I hope this works:

Can someone give me a sprite sheet of Duke Nukem 3D's Assault Trooper in green palette instead of blue?
Re: Resource Request thread *Read 1st post*
Thanks Enjay.
Warhawk, here's a wad with the assault trooper and a Duke Nukem 3D palette were the blues have been hue shifted to the green (by 70%).
You can tweak the palette more or convert the sprites to PNG as they are. As you wish. It's easy to do either from within SLADE 3. In fact, the longest part was to find where they are hidden (TILES006.ART, 144 to 243).
I haven't converted them to the Doom palette, so there is no color depth loss. Also they still have their original offsets, so it's better than a sprite sheet.

Does anyone have a good flesh texture? Preferably one that is 128x64.
Re: Resource Request thread *Read 1st post*
Is there any Thief texture packs that anyone can direct me too please?

I'm not aware of any Thief texture packs as such though I did use quite a few Thief textures in this.Springy wrote:Is there any Thief texture packs that anyone can direct me too please?
If you have the games, however, the textures are easy to extract. The CRF files in the RES directory are just ZIP files and the textures are inside are in PCX format. So both the archive and the textures themselves should be readable by pretty standard utils.

Well I decided to do something either way.

Oh, I thought you made a Doom version before? I do have all of the games on my steam and just followed your advice, found the CRF files can these be used with Slade?Enjay wrote:I'm not aware of any Thief texture packs as such though I did use quite a few Thief textures in this.Springy wrote:Is there any Thief texture packs that anyone can direct me too please?

As I said, they're just zip files so any util that can open zips should be able to open them: 7zip, Winzip, Winrar, PowerArchiver, IZArc, Pea Zip, Total Commander even Windows Explorer. SLADE can, of course, open zips too but you'll have to tell it to open a CRF because it probably won't know the extension. However, I have no idea whether SLADE will be able to read the PCX files within.Springy wrote:found the CRF files can these be used with Slade?
Why don't you try copying a CRF to another location on your HD and renaming *.crf to *.zip and take it from there? IIRC, the most useful files for textures are called FAM.CRF in both Thief and Thief2.

Here ya go:Sgt. Shivers wrote:Does anyone have the "NO WAY" sound from smash tv?
- Ran the "sound board test" from the arcade game's service mode in MAME.
- In Slider Controls, disabled volume for all sound chips except one.
- Recorded video of it in Fraps.
- Converted video to wave file in VLC Media Player.
- Trimmed it to size, downsampled it to 22 KHz 8-bit mono (no quality loss due to original sound being lower quality anyway).
