Not so much a project idea, but I've been playing a decent amount of Wolfenstein 2009 lately. It'd be awesome to try to make the unique Wolf2009 enemies and weapons in ECWolf, as resources for mods. :P

I though that mod working with Heretic?

I had an idea for a mod for DOOM/Skulltag based on the zombiemen, shotgunners and chaingunners. It'd basically be a mod where it's you versus the UAC. (Before Hell took over.) All of the soldiers would wear UAC uniforms similar to Doomguy's, and some would even wear helmets that protect them from headshot damage. Some of the enemies (such as the chaingunner) would be buffed to take/deal more damage. There would be four classes of non-boss enemies.

-Standard Infantry: Replaces the zombiemen and the shotgunners. These guys are the most common enemies in the game, and usually carry either pistols, shotguns, rifles or machineguns. (Machineguns replace standard chainguns.)
-Riot Infantry: A step up from the standard infantry. These wield the same weapons as standard infantry, but they also carry shields that protect them from (most) gunfire.
-Heavy Infantry: Replaces the chaingunner. These guys have a strong resistance to damage, and carry heavier weapons such as Miniguns, Super Shotguns, Grenade Launchers and the Flame Cannon. (The gun the Mancubus uses.) Their health is about as high as a Mancubus or Hell Knight.
-Armored Support: These are small to medium-sized vehicles ranging from mechs (based on the robotic parts of the Arachnotron) to tanks and gyrocopters.

This mod would probably serve as a prelude to the original story of DOOM, to show what might've been going on prior to Hell invading Earth and Mars.

I had considered taking my Strife mod "The Martyr" and making it into its own big project. Giving it its own maps, new mechanics (leveling system), story, weapons, et cetera.

My idea for the theme was a futuristic apocalypse where power meant everything, literally. Corporations that had once saved mankind by protecting them in vaults. Now turn on each other in an everlasting war over generators. This would kind of make sense of The Martyr's weapons using energy and such. I was thinking about making it play out slightly like Strife with numerous hub maps, with a number of extra areas just for the player to explore, loot, and gain experience.

The issue is, I've lost interest in nearly all the mods I'm currently working on, and have discontinued them. NeoCore is the only wad I'm working on, and I've only recently picked up working on my mods again.

Here's another project idea I've been thinking about for a very long time...

What about a AEoD inspired mod where it has every monster/weapon/etc from every game (*1), Doom mod (*2) and also uses every custom monster from Doom resources?
