The beta will be released in this week!
It will feature 1 singleplayer map and 10 deathmatch maps!

I just wanted to pop in and say this trailer looks great. I'm glad to see this mod relaunched with some massive improvements over how it was looking early on. Good job.

Looks good. My only complaint is that none of the original weapons are replaced if you're playing the original Doom II. The pickups won't give you anything.

Yeah, that's one thing that will be fixed in the next releases, the other being the mental mode not working correctly (I haven't updated it because it didn't work with zandronum) and the gnaar sprites that need to be redoneRibo Zurai wrote:Looks good. I just played the single player map, and it was some of the most fun I've ever had playing a Doom mod. Very well done! I still need to play it some more to point some things out that could be improved, and/or fixed. Excellent job!

Ammo seems to be funky and count up instead of down. Not that weapons don't work correctly, they do, but for example; pull out the pistol, it reloads, and it shows 0 on the counter. Shoot up to 10 and it reloads back to zero. Tommy Gun does the same, shooting up to 40 before reloading back to zero. Was this intentional or a bug?
Otherwise, it's damn good. Gnarrs are a pain in the ass, but for a Doom mod this is quite a piece of work; here's good luck to you on continuing past the beta status.

This actually tempts me to try it - regular serious sam 3 doesn't have too much folks to play with, unfortunately, so I might give it a shot. I hope you'll make more coop maps, since it's sam's bread and butter.
