Just working on commissions since I have zero income otherwise. Got a nice burst of requests so I can put off TSAT for something a little more lucrative.

Hi Zdoom forums, I made this .gif 7 years ago and forgot about it -

EDIT: Wow...a lot of the same names I remember seeing around here when I was back in high school. PDF, Enriance, Woolie Wool, Nash, Esselfortium, Enjay...keep doin' yo thang, gents!
Haha man, this is totally a trip down memory lane for me. I still have all my old doom files and projects that will never get finished on DVDs somewhere...

As entertaining as that gif is, it really should've been saved for an appropriate situation. Now it's all spoiled-like. D:

D'awwww and look at the baby chin on that avatar...that's since been replaced with a much more masculine situation (and I suppose it belongs in this thread also, since I've been working on it for 4+ years!)

Dude, your hair looks more like a light blond color, while your leprechaun beard is a red-ish color. O.O

I feel special for not only being remembered, but being the first one listed. This is actually quite an awkward feeling... especially so since I barely remember you and I know a couple other musicians I e-hung out with on various forums. D:

Welcome back anyhow! Plan to stick around a little more this time? :P

Have you been lurking all this time Travis?

Good to see you back anyway. Excellent beard BTW.

So what's your band? Looking for cheap rates for mixing, mastering and production? ;D

Nah, I've been in other places doing other things. I kind had to force myself to put Doom down permanently, since - I know it sounds dramatic, but - it was bordering an addiction that was obviously leading me nowhere. My heart just sank every time I thought to myself, "man, I'm literally putting hundreds of hours into a project that I'll only be able to share with maybe ten people in the world ever". Ironically, my said project was titled Obsess...

(Some WIP graphics for those interested -)
Spoiler:
I'd love to go back and finish it (along with a different idea I had involving the Zero Tolerance wad), but realistically it's probably not gonna happen. If it ever does happen, it won't be for a good number of years. If were rich enough to support myself while never needing to work a job, then maybe I'd consider it :P

And thanks a ton for the beard compliment! Cheers!

When a New Yorker plays bass, you mean :P

Yeah, yeah, I remember - you own your own studio and play(ed) in that metalcore band. :P I'm actually trying to do the mixing thing on my own now, though (sorry to take your business away from you!). I used to play for an old revived 80's thrash band called Atheist, which is from where that picture was taken. Now I'm working on my own projects and doing session work for people. I released a short solo death metal album this past July (probably far too amateur of a mixing job for your audiophile ears), and now I'm working on a large-scale game remixing project which I can't talk about yet, as well as a global metal collaboration album I can't talk about yet (but let's just say it has a few guys on it named Hene Goglan and Andy RaLocque).

Obsess! Man I remember you showing me that mod a long time ago. It was pretty awesome looking if I remember correctly. It would be great to see you work on it again :)

Also not sure if you remember me, heh. But I do remember you :). Hope your doing well man.
