Wolfenstein Resources

Post by Doom Juan »

Hello.

I'm currently in the process of making a Zdoom Castle level, but hit upon the idea of basing it around the theme of Wolfenstein after playing wildweasel's Nazi mod

Does anyone know of any sprites/textures that anyone has made? I am not looking for Wolf3D conversions, but realistic looking resources akin to RTCW (the architecture of my level uses a lot of slopes for Gothic Arches/Vaults, so blue walls and what not just wont work).

If anyone has anything, or knows of any good resources that could help please post them. I managed today to rip the Nazi flags from MOH and am in the process of converting them into the Doom Palette, and will post them tomorrow after some shut eye :3:

Here's an example of one I did tonight, it's scaled down from it's original size (They're about 256+)

Look for the Wolfenstein Mac / Jaguar resources. There might be something there.

Huh, that's neat. As far as I know, I don't have any idea where you'd find things like these. Maybe some sort of hi-res texture pack for Wolfenstein 3D, but that's all I know of.

Thank you Kinsie :D

I found some textures today when I discovered that RTCW are in pk3 format.

I'm thinking a dark and spookier look than the original Wolf3D.

Are there any texture experts that could help me modify/bring to life some ideas I have?

Hey, not too bad -- I might actually have a use for these soonish, time permitting. If it's not too much to request, would you mind sharing the brick textures you used? Or are those from a more common resource somewhere?

(I need to just get RTCW on PC already :P )

Just found this on Realm667:

Mortyr texture rip

Source: Mortyr 2: For ever
Count: 403
Palette: GZDoom specified - unpaletted
Format: PNG
Anims/Switches: Two. A stream and a vat full of tar. I'm totally dumb for creating AnimDefs, sorry.
Description: Mortyr 2 texture pack contains World War 2 graphics mostly, including German signs, Nazi flags, barbed wire, bunkers, concrete, stone, some steel, and wonderful terrain textures, such as grass and cliffs. There are also catacomb, crypt, and cathedral wall pieces here along wit' vegetation. All pictures are seamless and resized properly.

Conversion: Reactor
