Here where I live these cute giant fat rats lives in urban area. You can even touch the bigger ones, because they've lost the fear of humans (nobody hurts them here anyway).
They live in the river that gives name to the city (Tubarão), and if you walk by the river' banks, you have to "deviate" from them to not stumble, because they do not get out of the way!
