I don't think you're going to miss anything special by just skipping the damn thing. Me and my bro tried it a few times before he got enough and said "fuck it" and we moved on. As far as I know, the only reward you get from beating the thing is an achievement/trophy and random "Pearlescent" weapon drops (none which are unique to the boss). Additionally, according to the Borderlands wiki, killing Crawmerax causes the subsequent content to scale to level 60, which in your case would make "Claptrap's New Robot Revolution" nearby impossible without severe grinding.

Yeah I did look up a little on the Wiki about it, though I am unsure if the scaling counts through the whole game or just Crawmerax.
Though to be honest I will probably finish CNNR before reaching level 60 anyway~

This is the relevant bit, from here:
Borderlands Wiki wrote:Killing Crawmerax is a trigger for scaling events, as such killing him while the player is significantly lower in level will cause subsequent content to scale to the level 60 range (i.e. Killing him on playthrough 1 while level 45 will cause DLC4 to scale to level 60 essentially making it impossible to complete without further leveling).

Mmmm makes sense then- at my level I have no chance even against it's supporting mobs so I'll be staying away from it's lair- hell even the vending machines outside it have equipment ranging up to the max price! Not to mention I can't use them anyway.

I'm knee deep in financial problems now, finally, after staying in business since 2003... I don't even know where to begin solving all my debts. :(

I don't particularly care for MMO's, by dear God does Guild Wars 2 solve a lot of the problems I've had with the genre.

I've set up a milestone for myself today - I want to draw better, and how can you get better without practice? ;) I've finally filled up my A4 sketchbook, which is 160 pages, and it took me a year or so. I think that's an awful lot of time - which means I don't draw enough. I've got a new 100 page sketchbook already so my challenge is to fill up all the pages - in less than half year this time.

Wish me luck! ;)

Are all of the debts from your producing gig?

I'm not really comfortable about discussing the details of my money, but the last thing that blew a huge hole into my wallet was a concert I put together last Saturday for the LA band As Blood Runs Black... while crowd turnover was impressive, this was quickly offset by the unecessary expenses I had to fork out because their concert was postponed from last July to last Saturday - I had to pay penalty fees for their LA -> Malaysia tickets for six people (5 band guys and 1 camera man)... and to make things worse, last month, they CHANGED SINGERS so the ticket for their old singer is basically useless. It's like throwing money into the toilet. I had to buy a new flight for their new singer.

I also had to change the venue where the concert would be held due to some other problems.

I lost around RM 4000+ (Ringgit Malaysia) in the end. Total cost for the concert was around RM 10000 - about $3,223.73.

On top of all this, I have people left and right asking for their money that I owe them... FML

Lesson learnt: do not deal with bands without agents... one would think they could cut cost because they aren't dealing with any middle men... WRONG! The worst thing for an international touring band is the band managing themselves... or rather, lack of management. They are so bloody unprofessional, slow to respond and difficult to work with!

They're a bunch of cool and laid back dudes though... perhaps too overly laid back. Which explains the unprofessionalism. We almost missed their Malaysia -> East Malaysia flight because the drummer left his damn cymbals in the van at the parking lot! >:(

Remind me again to stay out of the music industry. It seems like people everywhere try to screw you over. And half of this crap was technical!

Well, tonight we decided to put our 11 year old dog to sleep for good. She had two hugeass tumors growing inside of her that slowly hindered her movement until she was unable to move, so we decided to end her suffering. Man, I cried like a baby... I never felt like this before, its almost surreal, I still can't believe she is gone. I will miss her.

From Kotaku live at Nintendo's presentation:
Basic set: $300. Deluxe set: $350.
WTF multiple consoles? The whole point of a console was to STANDARDIZE. Looks like everyone's forgetting all about that and heading to hard accessories. Also that's a bit higher than people were hoping. I could justify $300 for it though so I guess I wait till deluxe drops.
