Since there aren't any restrooms, Duke should be able to piss on corpses accompanied by a wise crack. It'd be great

And v0.19 is released! There are two especially huge changes in this release--one being Duke Nukem, of course, but the other being support for singleplayer offline play!
There's still one more hero to go, but he won't be showing up for some time. I want to take a break and focus more on balancing and bug fixes; as more and more people get interested in this (which still surprises me!), glitches and frustrating stuff come up which I'm gonna have a fun fun fun fun time working on.

As always, I appreciate everyone's interest and input, and will try my best to make v0.2 even better.

The new hero is fantastic! I'm really enjoying blasting my way around. The explosive shotgun is wonderful.

I have encountered a performance issue that might be related to the new character:
Playing on map03 of epic.wad as Duke, I noticed how my framerate started to plummet near the end of the level. I managed to exit the level, but the framerate was still as bad if not worse and the game crashed within a few seconds. I don't think this problem might be due to a compatibility issue, but I'm going to try playing through again and see of other characters are affected.
*Edit: Played through the same levels again as Doomguy, no problems occurred this time.

Problem aside, I'm impressed how well balanced and fun this mod is and I really like the new character, keep up the good work!

I may have encountered a bug while playing Duke, involving his Night-vision goggles: I notice that if you run out of juice for them, and they're still on, you'll be unable to turn them off, and you're stuck in full-bright/Nightvision mode until the level ends.

Fixed, thank you.

That's...incredibly worrying to hear. I'm afraid I can't replicate this, either, so I'm not entirely sure what happened.
Please let me know if there are any other maps where you experience the same problem.

BJs Spear of Destiny pickups in single player cause a weird graphics glitch showing a firing frame below the floor.

Well, that's an embarrassing oversight. I can't believe I missed that. It should've been frame WSPR E, not WSPR A. :?
Fixed, thank you.

you seem to be able to switch to your melee weapon via the weaponscroll function, even if you don't have the weapon yet.
also... did you buff the monsters from Chex Quest or what? and i certainly don't remember that blob of dialogue Lord Snotfolus spat out before. O_o

hah. don't get me started on when you meet Lord Snotfolus. from being just a measly, fat tank enemy that doesn't tank that well at all, i actually had a piss-hard time beating him on the 4th skill (Tome of Power wasn't exactly helpful in bringing him down). well, i can certainly see where the co-op optimization of this mod is heading at, now. O_o

Having tested out the dukester, his crowd-clearing weapons aren't so effective against those boss enemies (spider mastermind and cyberdemon, for instance)...then again, those enemies are pretty few and far in between, with at least the regular shotgun having some use in close quarters. The explosive shotgun definitely has its use for the bigger enemies or bigger groups of the scrubs.
