I'm not much of a fanfic person, but some of these MLP fanfics are pretty intense. Besides My Little Dashie, I'm reading Background Pony. It's about Lyra Heartstrings, suffering from a curse that every half-hour or so (Sometimes less, sometimes more) everyone forgets she ever existed. Any conversation or interaction they had is instantly forgotten in a gust of cruelly frigid wind only Lyra can feel.

Think about how life would be if nobody ever remembered you, and nothing you did made an impact on anyone except through physical objects. You'd be homeless because nobody would remember you're their tenant, and nobody would remember you are employed under them. Waiters would forget you ordered anything. Anything you write would be invisible to other people. Any attempts at getting help with your curse would be met with unimaginable frustration.

It's pretty intense, yes.

Ponibooru is about to go dark in two weeks, so I went there to check if I haven't forgotten do download some pics I liked. But about half of the pictures don't load for me now. Thumbnails are OK, but when I go to the actual page with the picture, it does not load. I can see only the comments (and rest of the page layout). Moreover, when I use the "bulk download" option, I can find the "faulty" pictures in the resulting archive, which indicates that they're not actually missing or corrupt on the server. It's been like that for about 4 days now, but nobody mentions such problems on other MLP sites. So I'm getting a feeling there might be a problem on my end. Please try if these pictures load for you and let me know:

i don't think much is going to be done about it at this point, considering that Ponibooru is scheduled to go down in just 2 weeks. only alternative would be to download the bulk of images and go through the ones you'd want to get, i'm afraid.

well, i'm gonna start downloading all the safe pictures and see if it's really THAT big.

Edit: it's so big that it cant fit itself in a hard drive with around 228 GB...... going for top rated only, it's only 22.1 GB

oh hey! I need to know your opinions, EDIT: which do you hate more? pony gore or pony porn? (I personally find porn more disturbing that gore.)

I hope you could shed some light on this for me. Why do you feel it that way? I mean, MLP is just a TV show. I watch it because it is well done and it makes me feel good, which I reckon is the reason why everyone else watches it. But I have no problem reading the Cupcakes fanfic, visiting an "anti-brony" site or watching the PONY.MOV series (in fact, I find the latter quite entertaining).

When you see some MLP gore - are you sad because you perceive it as a violation of the overall positive contents and perspective of the show? Or because you feel attached to the character(s) in question? I mean, the existence of such a picture or video has no effect whatsoever on the show - but you still don't like it because you know it exists?
