Ok, I've worked out how to print a string and a variable on the same hudmessage, but how do I make them different colours?
I've currently got my permanent messages set up for 800x600 (with the 2 colours), but of course many people will be awkward and use other settings or choose not to scale text in hi res...

Code: Select all
hudmessage(s:"in green color \cA something else"; id, CR_GREEN, ...)
Don't know if it will help, but on my tripod/lycos site, about 3/4 of the way down the page is a hudmessage example file that features colours, message types and use of fonts (IIRC).
