It's been a solid bunch of interviews so far! Xaser's interview after we get past this next jerk should be well-worth a read too, I think.
Contrast being the operative word here (i.e., you hit the nail on the head). Even though the personalities of the various Doomers who post/contribute on the forums become fairly evident, an interview does serve to turn a spotlight on key personality traits, and how they differ from those of other Doomers.Phobus wrote:Makes quite an interesting contrast ....
Indeed, it is. Highly entertaining.Xaser's interview ..... should be well-worth a read too, I think.
Ha! Ha!.... after we get past this next jerk ...
Can I steal it?LWM: Power corrupts. Fame is just another form of power. Once you're put on a pedestal, the only direction is down. Recognition leads to nepotism, and I want my work to stand on it's own, or fail on it's own.
It's the Internet. There's no such thing as 'stealing' on the Internet. Is there?Mannequin wrote:Can I steal it?
My apologies for the delays in getting out more interiews. I have been insanely busy at my job, and have had no time for DooM-related stuff for a while.Marnetmar wrote:Awesome stuff! Looking forward to more
classic! These interviews were a great idea. Will you be doing anymore? But then I ran out of toilet paper
I have completed interviews with The Ultimate Doomer, Scuba Steve, and Eruanna. I'll be posting them soon.Springy wrote:classic! These interviews were a great idea. Will you be doing anymore?
Well, some of you must have read my post and pestered Sergeant_Mark_IV, because he completed his interview today. Very cool.ReX wrote:I've not heard back from Sergeant_Mark_IV (the developer of "Brütal Doom"), so give him a shout out to complete the interview and send it back to me.
I'm eyeing a few other candidates, but I welcome suggestions.
Essel is one of several people I've asked, but not heard from. I agree that he would be a good interviewee, particularly in light of the recently-released SpaceDM9.Marnetmar wrote:How about Esselfortium or Chubzdoomer?
Also: It think it was actually Hellbent that got a hold of John Romero for DTWID, but maybe I did and just don't rememberI know I managed to contact him a few times with some questions about DoomEd, though.
