Well, the intended source port for the project he's working on in which this sprite will be used is GZDoom. So, those colors aren't an issue in this case.

True. Even the first ToP uses a shitton of coloured sector lighting and nonstandard palettes (being directly inspired by a port of Doom which featured 16-bit colour and, as such, not intended for software mode). At this stage, anyone who tries running ToPII in software mode is, frankly, an idiot :P

You can count on still getting at least two posts begging you to fix all the weird problems with the level.

That mouth really sticks out from the rest of the sprite, but otherwise nice work!

Yeah as jaegerman said, the mouth stands out a lot, but that's really cool otherwise.

Good work UnTrustable. These Wolf rotations are going to be really valuable.

Cut the last five pixels off and the perspective won't be wonky as hell. (I'm not a big guy of perspective myself, but things like that I know of.)

The metal also lacks actual lighting as far as I can see, blahblah - it needs some stronger highlights, maybe a little bit more intense shadows, at least where you'd really like it to be in shadow.
Chromatic (refractive?) surfaces like that are really weird to work with.

Other than that, it looks pretty cool. (hey criticism y u maek me fagget about dis)
Perhaps also make the top wood-like part (where there's a metal thingy sticking up) have some shadows at the edges - it's a bit too sharp at the moment.

Well, i've decided to change it a bit, since when i've tested it ingame, it looked like crap.
Here's take two:

Black, stronger shading, same stock, shorter barrel (but i may end up making it longer)
Still need to fix the outline though

You should make a variant of that with external hammers, since the internal-hammer areas are more exposed.
