I read the "uncut" version of Enjay's interview - quite a lengthy read, but very entertaining! A good insight into all of the early days of Doom that I'm too young to have experienced properly too

I, uh...fixed the topic title for you. =P
(Also, would you rather this be in General, since it's Doom-related? It'll drop off in Off-Topic if there aren't enough replies...)

Re: Doomster Unveiled: Inside the BossBrain
That's weird. I fixed it last night (including the text for the link), but then I noticed that there was no notification of an edit. You and I must have been "fixing" it at the exact same moment.wildweasel wrote:I, uh...fixed the topic title for you. =P
This morning I edited the body of the post to include DBT's name, and the edit notification came up as usual.
Your call. I put in in Off-Topic because it's not directly ZDooM-related. But I agree that it'll get more exposure in General.(Also, would you rather this be in General, since it's Doom-related? It'll drop off in Off-Topic if there aren't enough replies...)
Re: Doomster Unveiled: Inside the BossBrain
General for sure. It's Doomy enough.
Kudos on a good first interview! It's great seeing our resident Jedi Master spill his guts. ;P

See, the problem with that Enjay guy is he never knows when to shut up.ReX wrote:You can read the edited version ... or the uncut version

And isn't it time you did the same? Heh.Xaser wrote:It's great seeing our resident Jedi Master spill his guts. ;P
Gentle reminder. Second one. Heh.

I have to say, I do very strongly agree with WW's stances on modding (weapons, maps, all sorts) and those massive ripfest mods. His opinions on moderating seem pretty solid too, but I didn't need telling that, as he's been doing a good job here ever since he and the rest of the team took over from me

Re: Doomster Unveiled: Inside the BossBrain [5.11.2012]
Agreed. Moderating is a thankless job that requires a great deal of time and patience. And it's typically done on a volunteer basis. Reasonable moderators such as ww deserve our thanks.Phobus wrote:... he's been doing a good job here ever since he and the rest of the team took over from me
Steering us back on topic, however, I bring you the latest installment. This time it's with Daniel 'Tormentor667' Gimmer.
Stay tuned for interviews with LilWhiteMouse, and Phobus.

Certainly a fascinating look, even though I'm honestly a bit disappointed that LWM didn't really seem to say much...I guess that's just in her nature, though?
