As of 3571 or 3572, somehow this bit of code no longer works properly:

Before the whole rail feature implemented by Xaser was introduced, this was our solution of an insta-rail attack. Unfortunately, this change has broken some compatibility with AEons of Death v6, including the force cubes.

I really like the BFG laser effect, I have been trying to do a similar thing but it didn't work too well

When you load it up, type "summon rawket". You'll see how the difference between the two versions it no longer works (going from 3570 to 3571).
