Return To Columbia! Naa I'm just kidding, I can't recall what it stands for....

Also, getting AliensTC to work on your PC under XP shouldn't be a problem as far as I know.

LOL we posted at the same time! If mine had been posted first yours wouldn't be a double-post! :P

Oh, as for the DOS thing, umm, no. A.F.A.I.K. there's no "DOS-only" limitation on the WAD (why would there be one anyway?).

You're probably missing something, because it SHOULD work just fine with ZDooM. Tell me what happens when you try to run it. Maybe I can help.

Two of my most favorite maps are from The Master Levels of Doom and they are

All for One

UAC Dead

UAC Dead is one of the greatest examples of a map that uses great detail WITHOUT all the fancy features of Zdoom :p

All for One I smply like cause of the way it was designed, the night sky, and most of all, the music :D

I don't think I've ever played either one. By the way which other levels are from "The Master Levels" archive?

i never found uac dead to be great, but then again, i played it in 2002 or something and i already had seem more awesome stuff (and better made levels#\)... so i guess there was no wow factor for me. same with the aliens tc.

Man, I can't believe someone could be crazy enough to make a mod like Hell Revealed 2!!! It's too damn hard! I also did a special weapon mod to play in this kind of wads... like Alien Vendetta level 25 and 32. I don't think the authors made this level for the doom2.exe. Isn't possible.

You have no idea how much that WAD impacted mappers like me. I tried editing in 1993 and HATED it. Adding stuff was easy, but anything else confused the hell out of me. So I dropped it.

Then I played UAC_DEAD.

It was reminiscent of the scene from Blues Brothers when Jake "saw the light". From that moment on I didn't care how long it took me, I was gonna map for DOOM.

Thanks Leo! :D

Listing:
1.RTC-3057 (ugh.. no comments)
2.AV (Unique)
3.HelpYourSelfish (excellent example of superb usage of good old Doom2 Textures)
4.Equinox (so bloody original, nothing generic here, BPRD is a genius)
5.P:AR and COD (Lutz Rocks, no doubt about that).
6.Hacx (still unique and the adrenaline...)
