Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!

Re: 30,000 Levels
Dude, I have bad news for you: The "Worst Wad" award was removed from Doomworld's anual Cacowards. I'm sorry, but seems like you have wasted all this time doing this thing for nothing.
Re: 30,000 Levels
map map30000. Done. And you still get the entire mod's worth of content.Nash wrote:Challenge: Try to get to level 30000 in the fastest time possible!

This is the pinnacle of Doom modding.Clearly, the world is not ready for this kind of creative and glorious mod

I already knew this. I just did this original idea for fun just for the sake of creating 30,000 maps.Sergeant_Mark_IV wrote:Dude, I have bad news for you: The "Worst Wad" award was removed from Doomworld's anual Cacowards. Re: 30,000 Levels
This is not 30000 maps. This is 1 map repeated 30000 times and no, changing the textures does not count as a new map.
Re: 30,000 Levels
Interesting note: Because he packed the PK3 incorrectly (just a bunch of WADs in the root of a PK3), he actually created more work for himself then if he was to do it properly, and just duplicate/mass rename a bunch of individual maps in a maps folder.

Re: 30,000 Levels
Make something that's actually worth playing. Your WAD could be "beaten" by a Lego Mindstorms robot designed to press the use key over and over, which would take probably 2 minutes to build and program, as compared to how much time you probably spent on creating this.
You obviously know your way around mapping and coding. So make something that someone might actually want to play.

Just when I thought he couldn't make anything worse than a randomizer mod...
