30,000 Levels

Post by Doomguy 2000 »

This is another idea I came up with. You have 30,000 levels and all you do is press spacebar that's it. There are no monsters just you pressing the switch hoping to escape and beat the game. Now this is the easiest wad out there as far as difficulty is concerned but the most boring to date. It's takes lots of patience for this wad but at the end of the day you will be rewarded and feel achieved.

This is also my first project I am submitting to the idgames archive. Hopefully they got the file I sent them in the middle of the night.

Because I wanted to prove that there were no limitations to what how many levels you can have in a wad. Sadly I could only get 30,000 out of the 100,000 I had originally intended. It takes about 2 minutes to load this on windows XP.

I will bump this thread with a video when I beat all of the levels and record the final time it took to beat all of the levels.

You know... I've created a gimmicky mod that didn't have enemies or FPS gameplay... but at least mine was something you could actually play and enjoy.

This.... is just completely pointless. Maybe it demonstrates that you can have a significantly large amount of maps in a mod, but if this is all they're going to be, what's the point? This is just a sad waste of time. If this is a joke to troll the forums, ok then... But if you're serious thinking this is something people would actually want to play... yikes...

I must commend the author for being original. Surely no one has thought about turning a perfectly fun game into a meaningless and repetitive chore. Kudos.
