Made another pickup sprite, this time it's the plasma gun. Made it match the new look with a few liberties with the parts you can't see in the first person view, like the thumb-hole grip style. The in-game look is a bit murky since it's in a dark environment.

Perhaps that could be used as a base for the Skulltag railgun in BD?

I like the overall "Bullpup" look of it

I imagined it would be a bit uncomfortable to hold since the front grip under the muzzle/radiator box thingy seems so far from the trigger, so I tried my best to wing it into something that looks more ergonomic without shortening the weapon too much into SMG territory. Also it seems I've screwed up the palette a bit from reapplying the transparency to the image. It's a bit too washed out with not as much contrast as I'd like.

This is not related to gore/action for Brutal Doom, but a random evil/demon sympathiser might work for the next update. I think it's funny, but that's my opinion.

That's a good question. I guess I could make my own edit anyways.

Because every single pixel of every single sprite in the history of video games is fully intentional.

Or, it could be the lighting. It could just be a shadow that's causing the "darkness" on his thumb.
