Also I think you should have demon signs written in blood on the walls like it said on the doom bible pdf and have the demon sergeants explode like in the beta 0.5 version.

The demon sergeants do explode if they are "gibbed" or hit by a rocket.

Has pinky been guzzling gasoline? Because you wouldn't really expect something to explode like that upon a rocket hitting it unless there was a source of internal combustion.allan94 wrote:No, I mean in a fiery explosion like this

I'm glad id didn't put that in the final product. You can see it didn't even get finished it was so bad. Someone had the good sense to go "that's a fuggin' [censored word] idea" and scrap the sprites before they were done and even had a chance of going out to the fans.

Cage actually made a complete version of that animation. It exist in Sodaholic's version of Evil Unleashed.

It's pretty much the precursor of the Doom 3 demon death (and zombie gibbage).

LOL You came to a topic, but didn't even read the first post? It says (in the third line of the first paragraph of the original post) that Soda gave me his project because he didn't want to work on it anymore. So guess what... I already knew this was Soda's project before. I know it's ridiculous looking, but once you get used to it, you don't even notice it. I kept it because it's kind of unexpected that they explode like a barrel when hit by a rocket.

I like the explosion. It's certainly one of the biggest differentiators between the Alphas and final release. And, anyway, how does anyone know what a Pinky is composed of and how it dies?!

Wait, this is supposed to be what Doom would have been like if it had stuck to the old design docs, isn't it? Somehow I don't think voice acting would really fit, but it's your project...
