Quick ACS camera question

Post by Guest »

I am trying to set up a texture to show what a certain camera shows. I have read the codes for it and have used it in the ACS in my level. So far everything looks like it should work as I am merely using the same code, for example purposes first to see how it all works of course, but I get an error. Here is my current code.
NOTE: I realize that I am just copying the code directly. This is just to see how it all works first. When I get it working and mess around with it to fully understand it, then I can use it more.

#include "zcommon.acs"
cameratexture TCAMTEX1 128 64 fit 80 56

script 1 OPEN
{
Sector_SetColor(11 , 0, 0, 200);
SetCameraToTexture( 7, "TCAMTEX1", 90 );
}

//script 2 (int camera_tid, int fov)
{
//SetCameraToTexture( camera_tid, "TCAMTEX1", fov );
}

The error is in Line 1, cameratexture TCAMTEX1 128 64 fit 80 56. It says, Invalid declarator. I am guessing this means "cameratexture" but I am not fully sure. Could someone help me out? I am just starting with ACS since I am a level designer so I know nothing lol. I am starting to learn! :3

You are trying to declare the camera texture in the ACS source. That's the wrong place. This declaration needs to be done in the [wiki]ANIMDEFS[/wiki] lump.
