Setting up a camera to mimic a mirror

I am trying to make a realistic house with a mirror in the bathroom. My problem is that the mirror does not have enough void space behind it, and the layout of the map pretty much necessitates that this be the case. Does anyone know of a way to set up a camera pointing from that wall towards the player and then display what it sees on a mirror linedef? Alternately, is there some way to use portals here to achieve this effect?
