Option to have interpolated weapon bobbing?

Option to have interpolated weapon bobbing?
I noticed in PrBoom+ that the weapon bobbing seems much smoother than in ZDoom, so I can only assume that ZDoom is not interpolating the weapon bobbing. It would be nice to have that in ZDoom.

Hur?
I don't know whether the weapon bobbing is interpolated or not, but I have a feeling that this is going to end up like your old thread. It looks fine to me, I just ran in circles in the outside area of Entryway and couldn't tell the difference.

Oh, I forgot that I posted that! Try playing PrBoom+, you'll see that it's much smoother.
But yeah, I suppose this thread could be deleted.

Why should it be closed and not deleted? It's a useless duplicate, from the same person even. (I feel stupid as hell for forgetting that I already posted thatNeuralStunner wrote:Much better.Sodaholic wrote:But yeah, I suppose this thread could be closed.

It's a bad habit. Also this topic has actual discussion in it.Sodaholic wrote:Why should it be closed and not deleted?
Seeing as the other has had no activity, you can most likely delete it yourself if need be.

Post deletions are baaaad unless absolutely necessary. Search for any post by me with "post deletion" in it if you care to hear my recycled rants, for I can't bother to link them now.

You can't! I am faster than a speeding building!Xaser wrote:Don't make me murder you with a building.
Speaking of speed and bobbing, I notice that ZDoom does frame interpolation onready states. See, Id got lazy and used 4-tic frames for the [wiki=Classes:Chainsaw]Chainsaw[/wiki]. In vanilla it won't bob very smoothly, but in ZDoom it does (though responsiveness still suffers, remember kids to ALWAYS use 1-tic frames). As a side-effect, though, it sometimes takes a few tics to snap out of bobbing once you start firing. I'm wondering if there is any way to avoid this?

This just got added, so this thread can be closed with a [Duplicate].

Re: Option to have interpolated weapon bobbing?
But it's implemented without an option ...
Re: Option to have interpolated weapon bobbing?
There's an open thread for that.
