Key bindings are not staying

Whenever I change my keybindings they aren't staying when I close and re-open the game. I have no idea why, any way I can fix this?

is your zdoom config file read only?

also note that every IWAD has a different set of controls in the zdoom ini, so if you change your heretic settings, it wont change in doom or hexen and vicce versa (or any other IWAD)

Hmm it didn't work. I just had to delete my config file and then just start a-new. Works now.
