Squishybrick's sound mod

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Way to go nark, now everyone in this whole forum's getting arrested in the next week.. XD

.. Unless the people/program was bluffing... Either way, I'll have to re-make it.. I guess I got a tad scared at how threatening thier private policy looked, for
a COMPUTER VOICE... Who'da thought someone would be so stingy with something any old person can just grab over the net..

No, it's a joke.. But me removing it wasn't... I'll re-make it later... Oh HERES an idea! You stick YOUR neck out and host it!

Okay wait, I see how idiotic this is getting..

Look, apparently the voices for the wad I used came from this program who's private policy doesn't allow sharing of the clips anywhere.. But the policy
has extremely vague exceptions which threw me off, so I decided to be cautious... I know.. "Why host it in the first place if there were doubts"...

The answer is, I still wanted to host the mix-up wad.. I like that one..

We all on the same page now?

If the page is a page in the dictionary with "paranoia" written at the top, then maybe. ;)

I guess it's your decision but, really, what is likely to happen from you posting a few clips made for a novelty add on for Doom by a voice synthesis program?

True... True... But here's the funny part... I kinda.. Contacted the feedback making an inquiry on what exactly WOULD happen if the vague exceptions were false.. And the dude responded to me directly..

I know I know.. I completely walked into this one.. I feel a fool..

I'm intrigued now. Do you feel able to even mention the name of this program? :ninja:

Well since I replied to the dude telling him I removed it and stuff and that I feel I'm off the hook, yes..

It was this thing called AT&T labs "Natural voice demo" site.

 I know at least four people who have used that very site for sounds included in a Doom mod.

In fact, I was even going to suggest that very site to you.

There is also this one:
