You could always try my effects choker. In fact, I've actually got an update I need to submit to DBT...

Are you using AEoD's "drop weapon" function or ZDoom's?

I believe so, im unsure.

UPDATE: I fixed it and the class thing, turns out Zdoom 250 doesnt like that and the class thing, so GZDoom works better with it, but i hate teh OpenGL Graphics in it...soo cruddy looking, im too used to ZDoom

In gzdoom you can use the software render or simply download the latest zdoom svn; you're using outdated ones.

I remember a while back you could use GZDoom using Software and not OpenGL, but that was months back.

And I already downloaded the "Latest ZDoom SVN" Still doesnt work those two problems right.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/qwri6j <--Effects choker. It may not seem like it does much at first, but it scales with larger maps.

Hey guys, I've had a question put forward to me:

He can't seem to download the latest AEod files because the links for him seem to be broken. Any idea on this?

Also, he says he has ZDoom 2.5.1, would this be the correct ZDoom for AEod?

Is he trying to download just the patch, the content, or both?

He needs to use the subversion-compiled DRD latest releases found here. GZdoom's subversion is here.

I'll have to double check about whether or not it's just the patch or content, but I'll be sure to forward that SVN Link to him.

EDIT: Just got a message back, it looks as though it's the newest version of AEod he wishes to download.

Presumably, this was the link where you could pick it up from:

That's the main content file, not the patch. That contains no code in it whatsoever, just the resources. Double check with him to be sure.

Still, I'll address DBT on these issues.

Well, I just checked and the AEoD.pk3 and AEoDFiles (5.29.1) links in the 1st post are active.

This link you just posted indeed, is the same that's on page 1 and it works.
