A. Did you really, really need to bump this that badly?
B. I don't think anyone will do anything with that idea, and if they did, they'd be lucky to have just 3 people play their wad.

I tried using it in another doom port like 10 years ago [and failed], but I can safely say I'll never use it from now onwards.

I'm sure you've probably made a decision with it Randy, but, from my own experience, MP3 playback on a PC as well as adding music to a .WAD via XWE...makes CD useage impractical. I dont speak for the rest of the community, but given how things are...

I'm against removing this feature. While it may not be a very common feature often utilized, you never know what harm could result in removing it? Perhaps a project in the future "MAY" actually make use of it in a way previously un-thought of to achieve something unique?
