Ever considered recolouring the Ettin bluish-grey, and giving it a single bestial humanoid head? Perfect ogre (make it green for Shrek cameo) :)

That's a nice ChexTrooper, though he looks a little cramped in that suit.

Also Rebel in a environmental suit.

I like that helmet. It'd make a nice sprite for an interesting powerup. :P

From the little Strife I've played, I'm pretty sure Strife has a gasmask similiar to the one Zergeant used.
Cool solider, by the way. I also like the Chex guy sprite.

Yeah, Strife has a radsuit. Or "environmental suit".

You've got to use it constantly in the sewers level.

It could, the projection wouldn't hinder the movement since it's being directed (i'm assuming) by the left arm which would be at the front of the weapon. But it looks fine either way. The image seems fine as it is now, and I see nothing major obvious that something is wrong. The image also looks very consistent with the original. There is a small perspective misalignment with the projection in, but nothing all that noticeable.

An attempt to add a little bit of flare to the enemy sprites in Mutiny. They have significantly less frames than what I'm used to working with (Strife) so there's a good chance I can actually commit to finishing these.

Some sprites I'm working on for my new mod. NeoBit [working title] Yeah, it's an edited Karasawa.
Incase nobody noticed, the weapon has 8 forms;
Burst - Green
Rapid-Fire - White
Spread LVI - Orange
Spread LVII - Dark Red
Splash Projectile - Yellow
Laser - Red
Plasma Bolt - Blue
Neocore corruption blast - Purple

They are *supposed* to look simple as the mod will be set in Cyberspace.

Reminds me of the weapon in my old Mono thing, where only a small panel changed when you picked up a power up.

Nice edit of the star sentinel from blake stone, I never would have thought of that for a chex sprite, but it works really well as a base. :) Both characters have the same taste in pants

Though, he'd need a zorcher, the Rapid Assault Weapon won't really cut it, none of the chex weapons look like guns.

EDIT - I did a small mod of Eriance's plasma gun, what do you guys think?
