[RESOURCE] Rolling Boulders!

Post by CaptainToenail »

You know those annoying boulder traps in Tomb Raider, or that scene from Indiana Jones? Well, now you can place them in Doom too
The come in three flavours too, an ashwall-esque grey ball, a brown ball and a green marble ball, use them to fit the theme of your map.
Instructions on their use are in the text file, also I included a test map that is to be run alongside the main wad.

Enjoy :D

These things would be amazing as voxels.

Yeah, they would.

The sprites look surprisingly good too, I thought they would look odd when viewed from the side but they don't really :)

very good actually, the animation is pretty neutral, its not that obvious that it spins in any specific direction. Which makes it look good viewed from all the angles.

Ever since I saw this kind of trap in Doomraider, I've been wondering when someone would make more. Thanks for the rocks.

This is perfect for my mod, but not in the tech base part.

Heh, I know I would be pissed off if a startan wall opened up and a 10-ton stone ball rolled out on top of me

I also just realised the brown ball looks like a massive dungball. :x

Museum Raider is pretty much that. :P

I'll check these out - I might have a use for the sprites, at the very least. :)

So if you spammed a level with those, would that make it the Rolling Stones level? :P
