I agree that the satyr legs could need a little more work, especially in the 5th and 6th frame!
Could not agree more good sir.
EDIT:So this what you had in mind for an exploding satyr?

Here is the improved version thus far. Yes the head still pops off like a wine cork. Have not figured out how to execute an exploding goat head with out it looking like another zombie head doing so.

Looking at all of your custom Wolfenstein 3D sprites really amazed me. I wonder what you thought of the Angel of Death boss from Spear of Destiny, though. (The sprite in my avatar's a modified version of that monster from the original beastiary)

I think other then the uber mutant, it might be one of the hardest one I would attempt to draw rotations for(which I have not started on yet myself) ohh such detail for that beast is maddening :(. Ehh that might be quite some time before i try it is what i am saying.

Which rail gun sprite should i go with for the mod? Thing is I was not going for weapon reloading like in Zen Dynamics, so here is what I have to know, would anyone give a shit if the rail gun on the right reloads after each shot( and I know its five shots before reloading)?

Which to choose? Take Note that I have a zombie and a marine set that has said weapon on the left as well.

They're both pretty good, but the one of the left looks like an original doom weapon. I say use that one.

Isn't the one on the right the ST Railgun? I always thought it looked awful. :ninja:

The one on the right is (in)famous for also being in Skulltag, so for "originality," I'd say go for the left one (although its status is rather well-known as well... but I digress).

Also, I rather like the ST Railgun sprite, though I really hate how it's used in-game. The recoil happens too soon and it looks like the shot is coming from underneath the barrel at an impossible angle. That and the silent reload always bugged me. Interestingly, IGPack fixed that but introduced another sound issue in that the firing sound doesn't match up with the rail shot at all. Goofballs... :P

Mmm, I'm personally not a fan of the Skulltag railgun, it looks too much like a model rip and is not Doomy enough IMO. I would choose the left one, although it is also overused. It would be nice to see a 'Doom' rendition of the classic Quake 2 railgun, I know Eriance has done one but it's too cartoony and green to fit alongside the existing Doom weapons.
