I don't want to make "Heretic,Doom,Doom2,Hexen on steroids" - lots of details, which will turn original heretic, into heretic II, or some totally different game style gameplay etc. Lot's of today's wads for doom do that. They look like quake 2 for example. I'm trying to keep original heretic style gameplay with a few twists and turns (jumping + crouching). There is not add-on rule in which scripts and details, like for example Doom zpack but KDiZD. This mission pack must be have oldschool atmosphere & very good level design. :!:

Well, actually i and Caleb must build several solid levels, and correct/remake few "complete" old maps.

Q: Is this Sword of Chaos a weapon that you have to find in game, to kill the last boss? :)

Hey there, i remember playing the first episode awhile ago when it was posted on the wads in progress site.
I gotta say i really enjoyed playing it especially since it includes new enemies. Heretic always had a limited
bestiary and a few of the hexen ones seemed perfect for it. I hope you change the boss fight of the final
level in the first episode because (i wont spoil it for anybody) with what you encounter you can easily get
annihilated in one shot. It woul dbe fine to use them but there seriously needs to be a few pillars
to hide from the homing attacks. Even on the easiest difficulty they can one shot you. otherwise i found
the difficulty to be enjoyable and not too easy/hard. Keep up the great work on this, cant wait to see it 100%
complete!

Oh by the way i hope to see an apprentice somewhere, seems like it would totally give a perfect challenge in the right
circumstances and blow everyones mind when they see it

Don't worry ZDG. They'll all be credited in the info file which'll come with wad's final version.

You can always convert the Hellforge Apprentice sprites to PNG using bagheadspidey's unwad tool.

If you have SlumpEd,you can turn the sprites to PNG. Then the sprites will look good on all palettes.

SlumpED doesn't do a perfect job, though. It's best to just use Unwad.
