[Sprites] Aimpointed Futuro-Pistol

Post by MidoriMan »

This is a handgun loosely based on the Walther Red Hawk BB Gun, shown in the URL below:

http://www.airsoftbox.net/product_info. ... cts_id=347

Image
The sprites themselves utilize elements of the Auto-pistol sprites from WildWeasel's 'The Stranger' and 'Magnum Opus', fused with other elements from Quake 4's shotgun (IE the aimpoint itself). The 'opposite side' sprites are optional, although the design itself was originally supposed to be caseless.

You don't even need the flipped ones, you can just define all that jazz in TEXTURES.

TEXTURES can't do that little clip-ejection port on the side. <_>

Well, you can just add a small port patch on top of the flipped sprite in TEXTURES, like the image shown below:

But i digress, that is one smooth-lookin futuro pistol.

Then you'd need five patches. Though your idea would work well if you included the port on the main sprites and made the patch the 'bare' port-less metal.

At any rate, this is a damn fine gun. It's actually seriously gotten me thinking about finally redoing Trauma like I silently promised those many years ago... would make a good auto-pistol. Of course, knowing me, I'd have to come up with a suitable wad gimmick... hmm.

I'm quite a lesbian.

...

Thespian. :glare:

:P But seriously, if you looked into something like that, I want to be involved, even if I had to be a totally ridiculous, shoehorned-in character.
